Odd Jobs Flyer

$0.00

Description

Doing odd jobs for friends, family and neighbors is a great way to make extra cash, work toward a goal and build a strong work ethic. Kids learn important skills by working outside of the usual around-the-house chores. Helping others clean their home and outside areas can expand their skill sets and empathy as well.

How to Use this Flyer

Kids put their name, or the name of heir business at the top. They then think about what they can do to fill in the 4 boxes of jobs they will offer. Here are a few ideas for odd jobs kids can perform to make extra money, build toward a goal or simply to earn new skills.

  • Wash windows
  • Dust blinds or curtains
  • Rake lawns
  • Clean gutters
  • Mow lawns
  • Wash cars
  • Vacuum stairs and other areas that can be more taxing on older people
  • Meal prep for a busy mom
  • Fold clothes, or wash, dry and fold for an extra service

Be creative and create tiers of services so people have choices when hiring.

Only want to offer one job? It can be the same thing with different add ons. Such as babysitting in the first box, babysitting infants in the second box with a different price and/or time, babysitting more than 2 kids with a different price, and the 4th box can be babysitting weekends or overnight.

Post the flyer in the neighborhood or pass it around at family gatherings, email to friends of the family or post at a community event.
