Spending 15 minutes a day on small tasks can keep the clutter at bay and the house acceptable for friends and family to pop over, particularly during the holidays. This is also a great tool for teaching kids executive skills. Give them the chart and make them responsible for certain days or tasks on the chart. We do the daily tasks and take about 10 minutes in the a.m., lunchtime and p.m. to get it all done. Some days are better than others, some days nothing gets done! But that’s life, and that’s okay. Having a guide to go back to keeps us on track and makes it easier to function, particularly in small spaces with littles running around!
Bonus! Get this chore chart by age with your download! Comes in handy when your tween says it’s too hard! Ahem.

Inspiration Behind the Design
As a busy mom of twins with a quite a few projects always in some phase or another, I need a good planner that can hold all my ideas, to-dos and the family’s many schedules. I found myself filling up my work planner with craft ideas with the kids or new curriculum I had heard about. So I found a different planner that could hold all of that information. The margins of that planner quickly began to fill with tiny notes about all the other things I need to take care of, in particular, me.
I realized when I took time to put all the planners down and pick up my small, pretty self-care journal, I felt calm and centered. I also felt ready to tackle the crowded pages of the other planners stuffed with to do lists.
As a busy mom, it’s easy to forget all you do and easy to think about all you didn’t accomplish. This Authentic, Busy and Creative Mom Planner is designed to hold all of the vital info you need and, possibly more importantly, remind you of all you achieve each and every day.
Tips to Using this Planner
When we take time for ourselves, we have an abundance of energy, self-confidence and joy to parent from.
Take 15 minutes at the end of each day to sit with the Today’s Wins page. Every mom does more than she realizes. It is not the big things that matter, but the everyday moments that add up to a well-lived life. What meaningful moment happened today? Who was touched by your actions, words or presence? When the week gets away from you and a bad day inevitably pops up, a list of all you’ve already accomplished can stop that spiral of negative thinking.
Don’t feel you have to do everything on your list. Move tasks and activities to the Next Week space on the Daily Tasks page and take some pressure off.
