Description

It can feel like the house will never be organized and clean, particularly at the same time. Just like with anything else, you need a good plan. I designed this home organizer to keep all that goes on in the home in one place, from the day-to-day cleaning to keep the chaos at bay, to the weekly and monthly chores that need to be done to further organize all that goes on in the home. Print it out, put it on a clipboard or laminate and stick the lists on the fridge, pantry, bathroom, etc. so everybody knows what needs to be done to clean that space.

I’ve also included a decluttering page with a plan to move through each room efficiently. I declutter once a month to weed out broken toys, put misplaced toys back in their spaces, remove unused items (like small appliances or all those cooking utensils that keep finding their way to the jars on my countertops!).

Entertainment Trackers

We make plans and wait for movies, series and shows to come out. And then completely forget. For entertainment, I added movies, books and a bucket list tracker to keep those fun things in an easy to find place.  You get that movie pop up on your Netflix and want to save it for the weekend or mention it for the kids. Or your library has books they recommend or your fave online bookseller, and you make a mental note and stuff it in with all the other mental notes (you still have to return that pan to your mom…from Thanksgiving.)

Food Staples Trackers and Organizers

This is one I had to have, the fridge and freezer inventory list. What is in that freezer?! I buy in bulk when things are on sale. We’re still talking about that 10 pounds of chicken for .68 cents! I bought 3. And there they sat. I finally had to thaw them and smoke them all and deliver to the family so that they didn’t get freezer burned. If I had remembered and planned, we would save even more money at dinner time.

Love to cook? I use the kitchen and pantry supply list as a gift list when people ask you what you want for birthdays, holidays, etc. I realized I needed a big bowl with a spout for pancakes, cake batter, bone broth!
